In TA there wasn't a 4/4 requirement to enter or continue on your run if someone error's or dced. It was nice having the option to have your dropped teammate return by simply hitting enter from town once he/she had reconnected. Of course you were never guaranteed to regain your lost teammate as anyone could enter the cue from TA or RA teams that had won 10 and 3 of their 4 left. Despite these variables 9 times out of 10 you would get your team back. In the unfortunate event that you loaded with the dreaded ra naruto sin instead of your ranger, you at least had the option to continue ^_^ .
It was also nice having this option on longer streaks. If someone had to go you could find a replacement well in advance, sync them in and continue your win streak.

That's a good idea
Here's a nasty thought
10+ wins in RA --> CA
That would be pretty funny actually and CA would have tons of random people to fight... since RA sync is "fixed" I don't see the problem of people starting in RA deliberately to farm codex points.

No because the teams that make it through RA are easily strong enough to tear through any CA team. Hell if you join a RA team as a WoH monk, there's a 80% chance your RA team is much stronger than any CA team at that moment.
But really yeah, give the option of going in on your own or with 2 or 3 players.

Agreed 100% with what you said, this needs to implemented, having to start a run over because of a random d/c is getting pretty old!

Sounds good except for one problem.
(Since its randomized which team you might join)
You have a War Ranger Nec Monk team in CA and your ranger DCs and can now sync back into your team once he reconnects... however he could reroll warrior and enter solo and now you've broken the rule of 1 primary per team ( now you have 2 wars 1 nec 1 monk ) is there some kinda of code that can prevent this?

Sync'ing a 4th person is EXTREMELY easy. ALL teams entering the codex MUST have 4/4 players. you CANNOT start a match without a 4th person. Consequently, you WILL NOT start until you have your 4th person in play. To Sync a 4th person all you have to do is have them set up a 2nd group, win one match, and have everyone else in the group leave. They will be 1/4 and you will be 3/4, you'll be matched up and with them and be able to continue play. I've done this many times when we've had a teammate get a dc and we're already on a decent streak of 20 or so.

Which requires you to have an additional 3 people to do it.

Because you're obviously going to get 3 of your friends to waste 15 minutes setting up a team for which the other 3 of them will get absolutely nothing.
